General Questions

Q. I want to be able to record the pulse width and rise time of my signal. I am not interested in the raw data. Can I do it without having to write my own software?

A. Yes, the latest release of GageScope software, version 3.50.02, does allow you to save Waveform Parameters in a small binary file.

When you save these measurements, raw data does not get saved. In fact, we chose a binary format to make the file as small as possible, since many customers had expressed a desire to repeatedly measure and record parameters as part of a manufacturing test or a design verification experiment.

Note that you can always convert the binary file to a more readable ASCII format using the Waveform Parameter Viewer provided with the GageScope software.
