Q. I would like to use the CompuScope 250 under GageScope, average 20 acquisitions and then do an FFT of the averaged result. Is this possible?

A. Yes, it is possible. The averaging module of GageScope allows you to do time domain aver- aging of the signal over the specified number of acquisitions.

Once data has been captured and averaged, you can perform a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) on the result by setting the MATH:FFT:MODE item to CAPTURED and MATH:FFT:CALCULATE to YES.

Note that for new designs we recommend the CompuScope 265 instead of the CS250.
